What we're all about
We are dedicated to ensuring that the unique archeological, recreational and cultural assets and designated natura habitats of the Roscam Peninsula are protected from unwarranted development .
Our Focus
Our focus is on ensuring that the Galway City Development Plan 2023-2028 protects and enhances the archaeological, cultural and ecological assets, and resources of the Roscam Peninsula.
What we want to protect
Archeological Sites
The Roscam Peninsula has in excess of twenty-four recorded Monuments and Protected Structures including the Roscam Round Tower, The Roscam Folly and a large collection of recorded archeological artifacts.
Green Network
The Green Network on the Roscam Peninsula is one of the last remaining contiguous coastal nature corridors left on the eastern side of the city.
Protected EU Habitats
The Roscam Peninsula is surrounded on three sides by two European protected sites – the Galway Bay SAC (Site Code 000268) and the Inner Galway Bay SPA (Site Code 004031).
WORKING TOGETHER
We want to work with you to come up with a better way to plan and develop our city for the coming decade

It’s about putting working families and people before builders and profit
02
Long term wellbeing
Well-being and sustainability are the goals, not short-term profits for builders
03
Avoiding the mistakes of the past
We can have affordable housing and a sustainable liveable city
04
Showing leadership
Roscam Peninsula is a unique place that must be protected
